You are being provided this notice in compliance with the requirements of the City of Hico Zoning Ordinance.
The Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing to consider the request of a zone change for applicant (Four Z Family Ltd. Partnership) regarding the following adjoining properties, 403 N. Cedar St (SW70X190 OF 1 BLK 01 (2) COX-WEAVER), 405 N. Cedar St (77×179.13×105.13×180.39 OF 1 BLK 01 (2) COX-WEAVER), and 305 Old Iredell Rd (E1/2 OF 1 BLK 01 (2) COX-WEAVER; 120X219.03X120X200.06). The representative for these properties is requesting a change from residential to commercial.
The Planning and Zoning Commission will also hold a public hearing for the request of a variance regarding the number of parking spaces required on-site – as the applicant is unable to meet the required number of spaces under Ch. 6 Art. 2.
The Planning and Zoning Commission will provide the City Council information regarding their findings. The Council will have another public hearing before granting or denying the requested zone change.
